A LoPair au pair in China you are always regarded a part of the family and the host will include you in their family activities. As a “family member” you will learn to share responsibilities and contribute to make life in the family easier with less hassle.
Therefore on top of providing care to the host siblings, you are always welcome to provide a helping hand in the times where families need, although generally you are not responsible for housework that does not relate to the children’s or communal living areas. But we encourage that you could help your host parents do some cooking or some easy housework.

Our family lives at Shenzheng, a city stands on the south of China, one of the 4 first-tier cities. Also, we are so close to Hongkong. My house is located at the center of Shenzheng, it is a department of 123 squire meters, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. And this community has whole package: gym, swim pool, tennis and badminton courts. Also because this community is really covered by plants, the air condition is great here. Like I mentioned in my profile, it is also very convenience for living.
My family is a standard Chinese family with parents and a kid. We have a cute and smart daughter who is 5 years old named Alina. She goes to a kindergarten in Hongkong. She has lot of hobbies like playing piano, and she is active, enthusiastic, loves nature environment. English is the one she also likes, she hopes that one day she can study in UK.
My husband is in finance related business which makes him busy, and he always has business trips to attend, I am a stay-home-mom, majorly take care of our daughter. I wish you can join us, be our friend and tutor. The last thing you should know is that our family loves traveling. We some times go self-drive-tour during weekends and holidays, hopefully you could be our company to feel the endless of Chinese culture and tradition.
