Dear Au pair:
We are a typical Chinese family of 3 members staying in Shanghai, with the parents and one boy kid. I am account working as the chief financial officer in a French based company and my husband is a lawyer with humorous mindset. My handsome boy is 9 years old who is very attractive in various aspects, such as test results of studying in school, sports, and so on and so forth.
We are living in the area of jin’an temple, the downtown of Shanghai city where the transportation is very convenient with tube stations and bus stops. It’s also close to the department stores, cinemas, parks, museum, etc. The compound we are living has beautiful greens and sports center with tennis, table tennis, swimming pool… Both my husband and I are working in a regular time and we usually come back home at 6pm and have dinner around 6:30. We enjoy to sleep at early time and also get up early.
My kid likes various sports, including table tennis, chess, and basketball. He is not so talkative, but he could get along with people very well and become active when they are familiar with each other. He has studied English for three years and can speak and write, but very simple sentence. If you could come to our family, I hope you can teach him English with focus on speaking and listening, and if would be perfect if you could also make him write. Certainly, apart from this, you need to enjoy your causal life in China and learn Chinese culture. We may arrange some tours together with you in summer time to learn more China besides Shanghai.
Welcome! (written by the host family)
