Therefore, prior to your moving in with your Host Family, we offer all our Au Pairs a 3-day Arrival Orientation Training Camp (AOTC)held at our Corporate Office in Hangzhou! The AOTC is already part of your Au Pair China Program and will come at no extra cost for you. During AOTC we offer you 12-hour intensive training,welcome package,orientation tour and welcome dinner!(The training topics as below) In addition, your host families will pick you up to your host city to start a brand new life!

In order to strengthen our connection with each other and provide more support for all of you during learning, caring or exploring during the program, LoPair Au Pair China offers you webinars for Au Pairs.It occurs four times a month and they are 40 minutes in length. We invite LoPair mentors, education advisor, program service manager, experienced ex au pairs and au pairs who are in the program to host the webinar and share useful information with all of you. Culture shock is the personal disorientation a person may feel when experiencing an unfamiliar way of life due to immigration or a visit to a new country, a move between social environments, or simply travel to another type of life.
Chinese host families are relatively open-minded and willing to know much more new things. But in other hand thay also have their own life habit and custom that you have to know and understand.
Over 95% of Au Pair China’s Host Families are from renowned metropolitans such as Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou. These cities represent the highest level of development and life standards of China in a modern era.
Given the key component of au pair care in China leaning on the aspect of foreign language tutoring and 95% of the families are in favor of having their children learning English from their au pair, it is highly important that you have an adequet expectation about your role in this aspect.
The purpose of this session is to give you a soft start in first days in China. You will learn some basic words and phrases in daily conversation and we really hope you could enjoy Chinese class.
Every summer we have a volunteer activity in summer with the kids who are in needs.
In this session our coordinator will talk some details about your host family with you and help you get a good start.
